Breathe in God’s Truth
Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.
John 15:4-5
Passages to Study: Psalm 80:7-14; John 15
Questions to Consider
- According to Galatians 5 and 1 Corinthians 13, what is the fruit Jesus Christ is producing through You?
- What does it mean to abide (remain) in Christ and allow His Word to abide or remain in You? How does this transformed thinking produce different words, actions, and reactions?
Breathe out Your Response
Dear Jesus, thank you for nourishing our spirits and empowering us to bear fruit. While You provide the power, You enable us to produce the beautiful fruit of the Spirit–the fruit of Love. You are making us productive and beautiful like Yourself.
