Breathe in God’s Truth
I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me, just as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep. And I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to my voice. So there will be one flock, one shepherd.

Questions to Consider
- How does the picture of a shepherd and sheep show us our need to stay close to Jesus as well as His capacity to protect, guide, and keep us?
- How does Christ as a shepherd display the type of care He provides both physically and emotionally?
Breathe out Your Response
Dear Jesus,
Thank You for not only being the Lamb who was slain for our sins but for also being our Good Shepherd. You protect us, lead us to nourishment, pursue the wandering, seek and save the lost, and provide for our every need. We know Your voice and we follow You our good and compassionate shepherd.
