Breathe in God’s Truth
So the Jews said to him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and have you seen Abraham?” Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.”
John 8:57-58

Questions to Consider
- If Jesus Christ is self-existent and self-sustaining, what does that say about His ability to provide and care for you?
- Read through the I AM statements found in the Gospel of John. (John 6:35-48; John 8:12, John 9:5; John 10; John 11:25; John 14:6; John 15) What do these show about God’s ability to nourish, satisfy, and protect you?
Breathe out Your Response
Dear Jesus, thank You for being the great I AM. You are the eternal, self-existent One who needs nothing nor no one, yet You have chosen to set your love on us bringing us into Your eternal family. Thank You that I can look to You to meet all of my needs never fearing that You will run out of resources.
