True Wisdom – James 3:13-18

https://youtu.be/1MDFoxhEWY8

30. True Wisdom is of indescribable worth.

Proverbs 16:16; Proverbs 8:10-11; Matthew 6:19-20

How much better to get wisdom than gold! To get understanding is to be chosen rather than silver.
(Proverbs 16:16)

Take my instruction instead of silver, and knowledge rather than choice gold, for wisdom is better than jewels, and all that you may desire cannot compare with her. (Proverbs 8:10-11)

“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” (Matthew 6:19-21)

  2. How can you determine what you treasure most? Consider what keeps you awake at night, what your imagination wanders toward most frequently, and what produces the biggest emotional responses in your life. Also, consider where and on what do you spend most of your time, treasure, and talents?
