For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, bestowing his riches on all who call on him. “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” (Romans 10:11-13)
Do you need to be saved from your sin? God wants to save you! Just like you would call 9-1-1 to get in touch with people who could help you during an emergency, so you can call out to God to rescue you from sin and its penalty. (It’s not the call that saves, it is the God you call Who saves!)
I hope that you have seen how all of humanity is born going in the opposite direction of God. God is calling you to turn away from your sin and trust in Him alone to rescue you from sin’s power and penalty. Not only does God want to forgive you for your sins, but He also wants to adopt you into His forever family making you one with Christ! (Galatians 4:4-7; Ephesians 1:3-13)
How will you respond to this good news?
- Do you believe that Jesus died on the cross and rose from the dead to save you from your sin?
- Do you want Jesus more than your sin?
- Will you receive God’s gift of salvation through Jesus?
